In this study, the ability of physical remediation technique for remediation of a petroleum contaminated calcareous soil (Typic Calciargids) with three petroleum contamination levels was evaluated. Contamination levels were consisted of Cx (0:1 w/w, uncontaminated: contaminated soil), C1 (1:1 w/w, uncontaminated: contaminated soil) and C2 (1:3 w/w, uncontaminated: contaminated soil). Results showed that the soil microbial activity was increased at all contamination levels due to physical remediation processes as compared to the control (without physical remediation processes). The CO2 evolution due to soil microbial respiration in the C1, C2, and Cx levels was about 19, 25, and 20% more than that in the control, respectively. The most reduction value in the total petroleum hydrocarbon concentration (TPH) was observed in the Cx level at the end of experiment. There was about 52% of reduction in the TPH-contents in the Cx level in comparison with the control which was only 21%. Furthermore, TPH-concentration in the C1 and C2 levels was reduced about 21 and 24% more than that in the control, respectively. According to the results of this study, it appears that the physical remediation processes (aeration and providing optimal moisture) have an impressive role on intensifying the soil microbial activity and elimination of petroleum contaminants from soil. Therefore, the physical remediation technique can be investigated as an effective and financial method with low side effects on environment for remediation of petroleum compounds from soil.}, keywords = {Bioremediation,Calcareous Soil,Microbial respiration,Physical remediation,Petroleum contamination}, title_fa = {اثر سطوح مختلف آلاینده¬های نفتی در یک خاک آهکی بر قابلیت پالایش فیزیکی هیدروکربن¬های نفتی}, abstract_fa = {فرآیند پالایش فیزیکی، فنآوری نسبتاً نوینی برای پالایش خاکهای آلوده سطحی است که در آن با بهینه سازی شرایط برای فعالیت ریزجانداران هوازی، اقدام به پاکسازی خاک میشود. در این پژوهش قابلیت پالایش فیزیکی یک خاک آهکی (TypicCalciargids) آلوده به هیدروکربنهای نفتی که با سه نسبت وزنی 1 به صفر، 1 به1 و 3 به1 (خاک آلوده: خاک غیرآلوده بهترتیب سطوح Cx، 1C و 2C) با خاک غیر آلوده مخلوط شده بود بررسی شد. نتایج نشان داد که در اثر تیمار پالایش فیزیکی، فعالیت میکروبی در همه سطوح آلودگی نسبت به تیمار شاهد (بدون پالایش فیزیکی) افزایش یافت. به شکلی که میزان کربن تولید شده بهصورت 2CO حاصل از تنفس میکروبی در سطوح 1C، 2C و Cx بهترتیب 19، 25 و 20 درصد بیشتر از نمونههای شاهد بود. بیشترین کاهش غلظت کل هیدروکربنهای نفتی (TPHs) در پایان دوره مطالعاتی در سطح بالاتر آلودگی یعنی Cx مشاهده شد و کاهش حدود 52 درصدی نسبت به غلظت اولیه در مقابل کاهش حدود 21 درصدی در تیمار شاهد حاصل شد. همچنین در سطوح 1C و 2C نیز بهترتیب غلظت اولیه TPHs در تیمار پالایش فیزیکی حدود 21 و 24 درصد بیشتر از تیمار شاهد کاهش داشت. بر اساس نتایج این پژوهش بهنظر میرسد که فرآیند پالایش فیزیکی (هوادهی و تأمین رطوبت مناسب) نقش موثری در افزایش فعالیت ریزجانداران خاک و کاهش غلظت آلایندههای نفتی از خاک داشته و بنابراین روش پالایش فیزیکی میتواند بهعنوان روشی موثر، اقتصادی و با اثرات جانبی ناچیز برای محیط زیست، جهت پالایش ترکیبات نفتی در سطح وسیع مورد توجه قرار گیرد.}, keywords_fa = {آلودگی¬های نفتی,پالایش فیزیکی,تنفس میکروبی,خاک آهکی و زیست پالایی}, url = {https://ar.basu.ac.ir/article_194.html}, eprint = {https://ar.basu.ac.ir/article_194_ca69fe86845686f616c575948b5c4e25.pdf} }
